Finally, I decided to take private art lessons—something I’ve dreamed of for half my life. It’s wonderful to learn art in a structured way rather than just attending one-off classes. It was also important for me to find an instructor with a genuine degree and the ability to draw beautifully and accurately.

We started with a still life of apples—nothing too special, just a way to familiarize ourselves with the process.
Next, we created a still life from life rather than a photo. This ended up being the best piece I’ve ever created.
As a goal for the future, I definitely want to attempt creating similar compositions on my own from life. It was quite challenging, especially with the red flowers and the glass (can you spot anything else in the picture? 😁). But it was absolutely worth the effort. In parallel, I worked on some studies.
After that, I began a composition course, which focused on combining ideas and distinct elements into a cohesive and complete picture.
For this assignment, I was expected to design two compositions—one static and one dynamic—and render them on paper with liners. My chosen compositions were as follows:
Of course, I also did some extra studies on my own, including a Harry Potter theme. ☺
