I created a new account for my paintings. As I have many artworks, just started to post them to see how it will go.

To say that it disappointed me is like say nothing. In a first few minutes I was happy because people subscribed to the new account and even left some comments. Disappointment comes when I realized, that huge amount of them are just like “Send it to…. account” or “I want to buy your art as NFT”. Come on, really? Is anybody on it?

Despite that, subscribers stopped on 100… So little. I’m just upset and thinking, is my art so bad?

Maybe but of course I don't know how to promote them correctly. And I even didn't spend money on add. Anyway, many people say that consistency is the key. So will see. I just will post my works and let's see what happens.

Just to have an achieved picture of current situation:

Apart from that, I post the same things on Facebook, which should be like a universal social media, where I’m translating my blog posts, my arts from Instagram. But I have no idea how to grow on Facebook from zero. If I have no friend, what should I do for subscribers? Or it is just a social media for real friends, who know each other in real life?
So my investigations continue in this direction.
To be honest, I received a few messages with questions about commissions (if it is opened). But currently I’m not sure how to process it, how to send originals and so on. For the future I think it would be great to set up Shopify, but it is only in case of some amount of subscribers and some interest to my work. Otherwise it is only losses.
Some time ago I’ve found one artist in Instagram (@iiwin__) who no has 5 thousands of followers and she just opened her online shop. So I’m just interested in what amount of followers is ok to open a shop and to sell something? Let’s wail for 5 000. Hope it will happen :-) And good luck to me.
