What are your plans for this year? Do you dream big or just plan every single step towards achieving your goal? Or do you not plan anything and just go with the flow?
Last year, I was consumed with planning and goal setting, trying different systems and methods. I was so engaged in this that currently, I don't want to even think about it at all. The last few weeks of the year ended up being rather lazy (fortunately). So, I again find myself without a plan. But what can I do about it? Make a new plan? Not this time.
Now, I just want to avoid focusing on planning and start acting right away. I simply need to decide what I want and start taking small steps towards it. Right? Could that work?
Primarily, I have two main facets of my life where I need to work hard to succeed - programming and art (or maybe three, if I include languages).
In terms of art, I'd like to set up a shop, build an audience who will appreciate my art. And, I've already begun. I won't to describe all the steps here, but will instead focus on the tasks I can take on now. For instance, I have created a site, and am now organizing my shop, dealing with listings, shipments, policies etc.
As for programming, I want to learn as many materials as I can, write a few articles, and develop a few personal projects to hone my skills or at least to try new technologies. To be honest, I am not very far along in this aspect. However, I promise to start from the first day of work.
I hope at least this approach will lead me somewhere... No plan, just willingness... Let's see.
